The other day while taking Sammy to school, she asked me a question.
“Daddy,” she said. “Will you teach me how to drive?”
I thought for a moment. “What day is tomorrow,” she asked as a follow-up.
“Friday.”
“Tomorrow’s Saturday? You have school tomorrow?” she asked.
“That’s right.”
“Ok, will you teach me how to drive on Sunday?” she asked. “You can sit in my car seat and I can sit in your seat,” she explained.
As I laughed, she sought to soothe my concerns. “But I already know how to ride a bike!”
Sold.
